There will likely be battleships in War Thunder. They've been adding images on the Gaijin website for about two years, and nothing else has changed.
They claim not to be in beta, yet the current state suggests otherwise. They reportedly ran a demo with pirate ships early in April, but that’s all. It seems they’re nearing completion, though I wouldn’t wager much on anything Gaijin does beyond this stage. Gaijin appears more focused on metrics and wait times than on player experience. Source?
