Hi everyone, I'm on Windows 7 64-bit SP 1 and have been facing this issue for about a day. Opening Windows Explorer and enlarging a folder or file to show more than "Medium Icon" results in a blank thumbnail. The pictures at the bottom confirm this. When I select "Medium Icons," the thumbnail still appears. Choosing "Large Icon" or "Extra Large Icon" clears it again. Moving slightly further from "Medium Icon" makes the thumbnail empty as well. Additionally, my wallpaper always becomes blank even after switching images. It seems these problems are connected—when I try to pick a picture, Windows shows an empty thumbnail. I found similar issues online and some users just give up by reinstalling Windows. Apologies for the poor English.
