playing for about three days on Cyberpunk: Fine. This morning I noticed my CPU hitting power limit throttling (i9 9900k). Used to be able to adjust pl1 and pl2, but it keeps happening now. Someone, can you help?

Consider raising the Turbo Boost Power maximum. It was capped at 120W. Uninstalling XTU and adjusting it in the BIOS might be better.

For some reason I don't trust myself using the BIOS. Also I don't really know what I would be doing in the bios, intel xtu is much more noob friendly and I can see everything happening in real time.

Noted what you were discussing. The temperatures on my i9 9900k are already pretty high on stock. I’m unsure if boosting Turbo Boost Power Max will harm the CPU or memory. Any drawbacks with using Intel XTU and also lowering voltages to prevent power throttling? What are your thoughts?

Undervolting doesn't lower the main clock speed. It might lead to issues with stability.

I'm watching a tutorial about boosting the i9 9900K right now. Lastly, it's time to learn, probably. I'm not satisfied with my performance in Cyberpunk 2077 in busy spots, so I'm planning to try increasing my CPU speed to about 5 GHz.

Regarding XTU, it doesn't behave as consistently as using the BIOS settings. I've experienced unusual actions before. You're free to skip any steps that feel uneasy.
