Hello everyone, I constructed the rig mentioned above last year, using discounted mining motherboards available then. The setup includes an MSI B360-F PRO Pentium G5400 with 2x 4GB Crucial DDR4 2400 Corsair VS650 PNY CS900 and a 240GB SATA III SSD. Performance has been solid overall, though the integrated graphics is stuck at its base 350MHz frequency and fails to reach the intended boost clocks, causing significant slowdowns. I understand this iGPU isn't delivering much power, but I still want to optimize its operation. On the CPU side, everything functions normally without throttling, and the GPU setup also meets expectations. While checking Intel XTU and HWinfo, I found some error logs suggesting possible issues with the integrated graphics: "Current/EDP Limit Throttling (XTU), GT : VR/TDC (HWinfo)." It appears the CPU might not be receiving adequate voltage despite the low TDP motherboard. There doesn’t seem to be a BIOS option to manually adjust CPU voltage, and the changelog doesn’t mention this problem. It's an IGP, you're essentially limited to your current situation.
Hello, thank you for your message. To raise the power limit manually, you can adjust it via the BIOS settings. I disabled Intel C-State without success. Please refer to the attached screenshot of GPU-Z when the IGP is under load; it shows voltage spikes and indicates the voltage appears too low. Let me know if you need further help.
