Consider creating a TUF X570 discussion thread for all mobo-related topics, from BIOS news to broader issues.

Great setup for now, just keep in mind the front panel doesn’t show type C yet. Also, update the BIOS since there are problems with the RTX 3000 and RAM OC compared to the original BIOS.

I haven't updated the bios unless necessary. I'm currently at version 3001, which runs smoothly with a 3700x and RTX 3070.

The BIOS fan settings for that motherboard let you adjust speeds manually. With your TUF B450M Gaming Plus, you can set DC fans to a lower maximum speed while still allowing them to run at 60%. It also supports zero RPM when temperatures are low, though it doesn’t offer the advanced PWM control you might want. You could use your existing quieter fans and create custom profiles for different fan speeds.

Have you explored options like Fan Control? The image below shows the Asus Ai Suite screenshot.

I'm searching for a board featuring a Ryzen 5 3600, with plans to upgrade to a 5800X later. Regarding memory, should I opt for 3200 CL16 chips instead of the 3600 CL36 if the 3200 model has tighter sub-timings? Also, how significant are sub-timings for performance in AAA games? Can these kits reliably meet advertised speeds and latency, or will they likely struggle with lower performance?

I’m already using Fan Control, but I’d prefer to skip it since it doesn’t seem to function properly on my motherboard without Commander Pro installed. It appears the system can’t interpret motherboard details during iCUE initialization. I haven’t verified whether iCUE is still required since December 2020.

It's clear you found the Asus Ai Suite useful for managing the fan.

I just upgraded the Aura Sync SDK via Armoury Crate, but my RAM ARGB isn’t showing up in the device list and I can’t connect. I’m also using an XPG Spectrix D60G RAM 8 X and others are having similar issues. UPDATE: After a few reboots, the problem is fixed.
