It works similarly with all other system cleaners. I've been using the pro version for several years now and am satisfied with it. Based on my experience, you get the best results when you combine it with CCleaner because one always detects things that the other might miss (even during scans). To those who complain about its aggressive advertising, Avast is popular among users and CCleaner is also well-regarded, though less so. Updates are released weekly, and the paid version appears first. That could be preferable to popups when you choose to run it. It might be a valid point, but it isn't a strong argument against using software. Additionally, their Smart Defrag performs much better than Piriforms' competitor.
