In my opinion, you're missing some key considerations:
Unless you opt for a sealed, pre-made system (not just a compressor), you'll need a refrigerant permit and specialized equipment. Are you prepared to invest several thousand dollars in something you might not use again, plus face significant liability risks if things go wrong?
What happens during compressor cycles? Your computer won't handle even a few minutes without cooling. Any less will cause problems with short cycling, leading to ice buildup, overcooling, and potential damage to the compressor (which is undesirable).
