This board is still relevant despite being from over a year ago. It uses the MDU1511 L28001GP MOSFETs, which should work with a Ryzen 3 3100 if configured properly.

Each stage uses 1-2 high-side MOSFETs, 1-2 low-side MOSFETs and a choke. The exact count of MOSFETs isn't specified. Power distribution varies—some phases supply CPU cores while others power the SOC. The voltage controller model is needed to understand its limits for the ON-CHANGE configuration. MDU1151 handles low-side switching well, but high-side MOSFETs require fast switching. It performs better than the configurations Gigabyte and Asus use on their budget boards, unfortunately. Without a heatsink it will remain underperforming compared to them. A 3100 will work, but avoid pushing higher core counts in 65W TDP models.

It should work fine with your Ryzen 3 3100 up to 4.0 GHz. I’ll definitely consider a new motherboard if I decide to upgrade my processor later. My budget was tight, so I couldn’t afford another one due to high prices in my country. This was the most affordable option I found.

What kind of cooling system are you employing? If your setup includes strong airflow around the VRMs—such as the standard heatsink—you should be good from that perspective.

A couple of adhesive heat sinks would help, though you might reach temperature limits on the CPU cooler before the power supply fails, making it probably not worth it.
