those small Wi-Fi connectors you see everywhere
I'm attempting to swap out the logic board on my Dell XPS 13 due to problems with the old one and faulty networking connections. The new Wi-Fi chip’s antenna ports are partially working after some adjustments, but another remains unresponsive even after extended testing. I've attached photos of the connectors for reference. It seems there may be an issue with the cable or the chip itself. Any advice on possible fixes would be greatly appreciated.
It seems there might be an issue with a connector, though it looks like you've already spent some time troubleshooting. You're right to notice this, and it could be a tricky part. Let's try to fix it together.
I've never experienced any problems with them—they lift at an angle beginning at the end, with the wire attached, and then reverse to snap back down. That’s usually the least uncomfortable part of most repairs I perform. It seems the connector on the board might be damaged, though it's hard to see. Around 11:00 on the connector appears splayed open or laid out.
