First attempt! Confirm if I'm on the right track. HP 590-p0041 with AMD Ryzen 5 2400G and Sunflower RAM. Board number 843311 AM 4 socket. Planning to upgrade to AMD Ryzen 5 3400G. Should it fit without replacing everything? Power supply is 310 watts from HP, clock speed 3600 MHz. BIOS version AMI F.52. Please let me know if I missed anything—I'm keen on his videos too! I just need to verify compatibility before proceeding to avoid any issues. It's a bit pricey to risk it.

It won't function as expected. The upper-class model 590-p0044 allows processor upgrades, but none of them are from the 3000 series. https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-.../c06001583 Apologies for the update.

I would choose the Asus B450. This chipset supports every Ryzen model. Just keep in mind the BIOS updates for CPU compatibility before proceeding.
