everything works well for me, possibly it's SLI or I haven't reached that level yet. yes, I’ll hold the developers accountable for not keeping up with 4-core support—that’s not accurate. I believe battlefield offers more cores, and the performance is impressive without needing 310 fps. if I could cap it at 120, AMD isn’t the issue; it’s the developers not grasping how to utilize extra cores effectively. performance is strong, but not all parts are used. I thought they’d optimize for this eventually, but it’s taking too long. the CPU usage feels excessive, which is why I prefer high FPS and smoother mouse movement. 60 frames per second in third-person games feels sluggish. possibly it’s due to VSync being bothersome overall. i’d really like a G-Sync monitor.
I understand, I don’t cap frames in shooters. I assumed you were mentioning CPU usage.
It seems buying a 2-core setup leads to poor performance due to insufficient cores. This is frustrating since you chose an 8-core device and expect better results. The issue likely stems from the lack of support for additional cores, which developers didn't prioritize. A 2-core system means you're not utilizing the available cores, and consumers end up doing more work with less power.
If you're not a developer and you're unfamiliar with the situation, why do you think they need to run on 4+ cores? It's not just about hoping they'll improve support for many more cores next year.
I wouldn't rely on that. Although I admire the developers and their Warframe concept, they move too slowly on many fronts. They assign specialized teams to specific game aspects yet still take months to add new weapons. I suspect the bosses are deliberately holding back progress just to profit from the game. I might be mistaken after all.
Warframe is an excellent game that runs exceptionally smoothly while maintaining a visually impressive experience. It feels like a classic from 2007, yet it looks stunning today. The performance is impressive, especially with the availability of more than four cores—this isn’t just casual talk. I didn’t endorse the 24-core monster, but having eight cores is definitely a milestone. Welcome!
