It's typical for the device to pause at the VGA stage, checking the VGA BIOS checksum before proceeding. It will boot normally afterward and then display a message. If something went wrong, the indicator light would remain on and posting wouldn't occur. That's the expected behavior.

It's actually my first PC, and I assembled it from scratch. I wasn't aware of any specific problem at first. I assumed it might be an issue. Thanks a lot!
