I recently changed my PC from a Ryzen 5 3600 and RTX 3070 to a 5800 X3D and a 3090. I also switched from a 700-watt PSU to a 1000-watt one. After reassembling everything, I noticed I can't connect to any game servers anymore. My regular internet works perfectly—watching YouTube, streaming, chatting on Discord is fine. Only games lobby connections fail, even for Steam Battle.net and Roblox. I've tried resetting the CMOS, swapping the motherboard, reinstalling games, doing a factory reset of the modem, and more. Still, I'm stuck and don't know what's wrong. No online help seems available. I hope someone can help me figure this out. Thanks for reading!

Is there a method to link a game from one device to another via the same router? I’m just checking if this isn’t a common problem. It brings back memories of limitations with certain NAT settings.

Spoke with my ISP and after about an hour or two they suggested swapping my modem. They mentioned someone else was using MoCa, which didn’t seem like my problem, so maybe that was the cause. Before the swap I could play games on my laptop without issues, but it’s still unclear what the real issue was. It seems to be resolved now.
