I've heard about this method to run Windows 11 without a TPM, but it's not an official fix. I prefer the traditional approach and want to activate TPM 2.0 in my BIOS soon. I'm worried about the warning about a TPM recovery key for BitLocker and need to know what it is and where to store it safely. I'm using a 3700X and a ROG C8H X570.

When Bitlocker isn't installed, it's not necessary to worry about the BIOS recovery key message.

When you activate BitLocker in Windows 10 or 11, your recovery key is saved automatically using your Microsoft account. Visit https://account.microsoft.com/, enter your same Microsoft login, and log in with your PC. Choose your device in the "Device" section. Navigate to "Manage recovery keys" under "BitLocker data protection," and your key will appear there. Make sure to verify everything before turning off TPM.
