Hello, I've assisted my father in installing a TP-link AC1350 access point. It works fine for him but not for anyone else. We tested both his and our laptops, and all devices reported no internet access. Our phones, iPads, and Macs also indicated security problems with the network. We reset and reinstalled the access point several times, using the standard setup steps. Why is only my father's laptop connecting properly? What should we try next? Thank you.

Check if it links to a router, modem, ONT, etc. Identify the make and model. Determine if other devices receive private IPs and whether your father's laptop gets a private or public address.
