specs: mosi z390-a pro cpu i7 9700k ram 8gb corsair vengeance rgb i checked each ram slot by resetting the cmos then swapping the stick in. putting it in b1 caused the debug lights to switch between cpu and dram. with ram in b1 it boots fine, but after initial boot I can add more ram and rearrange slots as long as dual channel isn't used. this is the machine i haven’t used anymore, though during testing i installed 3 sticks (random ones found with the pair) in slots a1, a2 and b2. is it possible the traces have worn out enough to be unsuitable for training? I don’t think it matters, but i’m missing a vcc socket pin.

It seems you're questioning whether dual-channel supports mismatched stick pairs. Are you referring to a single stick model, not the Vengeance Pro? If so, please specify the other two sticks.

I own two 8GB Vengeance RGB sticks (not Pro) and one 8GB ADATA XPG. The 8GB stick was for testing each port. I tried dual-channel with just the two 8GB Vengeance sticks, but nothing happened.
