I recently purchased two LiteOn LCM-256M3S SSDs (256GB, dated 2014). Both units trigger the computer to freeze. Is this a warning sign of a failing drive? It can occur under heavy usage or sometimes unexpectedly, like when launching a new browser tab. I need to perform a hard reset. Are there any solutions besides replacing the drives? (Note: Please mention that I should add this context.) One PC runs a ProBook with an i5-m480, the other a ProDesk with an i5-4590. Both have 8GB DDR3 and work fine with any other storage device.
