I can't display images since I don't have access to that capability. My components are an i5 750 rx 580 and an ASUS P7P55 LX motherboard.

Precisely what part is faulty? Is it the cable in the case or the pins on the motherboard? Should the motherboard pins be okay and does your case have a reset switch, link that switch to the power connections?
