Hey everyone, I’m dealing with one of three identical workstations that’s completely unresponsive. Initially, it would stop working after a fan spin, then the fans would increase and the machine would power down abruptly on a F3 BIOS error. The hardware specs are: Mobo model Asrock TRX50 WS, AMD Threadripper 7965x CPU, 64GB ECC DDR5 RAM, a Cooler Master V1200 Platinum PSU, Samsung 990 Pro SSD, Nvidia Quadro RTX A4500 GPU. When the issue started, it only triggered shutdown when loading Windows. I tried reinstalling drivers and entering safe mode to remove the GPU firmware, which resolved it temporarily. After finishing a project, the machine booted normally, handled heavy rendering tasks, and shut down safely via UPS powering the rack.

Now, upon returning, it behaves similarly but doesn’t display the BIOS post-screen before shutting down. The fans still kick in, then the system cuts off instantly. I’ve tested everything: swapped SSDs, GPUs, RAM, PCIe slots, power cables, and even removed the motherboard to check for shorts. Refreshed the BIOS with a utility, but nothing changed. I’m running out of options and am considering sending the board and CPU back for warranty, as shipping them internationally would delay our project. I’m hoping I missed something obvious, but so far, nothing works.
