Your 3700x occasionally boots into Windows with slow performance, showing high clock speeds but limited cores running at 450-500MHz. The issue appears intermittently, resets after a while, and only occurs every few days. Chipset, BIOS, and drivers are up to date. What could be causing this?

Reset your BIOS settings. If this doesn't resolve the issue, consider updating the BIOS.

I've already attempted everything, unfortunately.

It might actually be the operating system that's the problem. Simple restarts usually don't fix it, especially if the symptoms suggest hardware concerns. Have you tried using software like OC tools (e.g., Ryzen Master) or the motherboard utilities? You could also try disabling startup in Windows to see if that resolves the issue.

Consider turning off xmp and dcop if you have an overclock. Reset the CMOS. Test each stick individually. Ensure CCPC is not active (unlikely cause).

I can turn off my Xmp, I don’t have an overclock, I’ve reset the CMOS a few times without success for this problem, the issue when testing one stick at a time happens very rarely—like starting the system 12 times and it doesn’t occur, which feels inconsistent. Honestly, I’m not sure what CCPC is.

It essentially configures the CPU to operate at one CCX level.

It seems I’m missing those items at launch, and I think this might relate to a Windows issue.

Sure, I'll take a look but likely I wouldn't have interacted with it since my only contact is pbo in the bios.

It could be an issue with Ryzen Master.
