I placed an order for a new PC and am considering DayZ, but I'm unsure if it will work. The specs are: GPU GTX 1060 3GB CPU i5-4460, RAM DDR3 8GB 1TB HDD plus 480GB SSD, motherboard Asus B85M-G, PSU Silverstone Strider Essential 500W (80 Plus), total around 800 euros.

I used to play it on my old GTX 670, and it runs smoothly with your 1060.

Certainly, more than sixty is likely, possibly reaching one hundred.

I've never played DayZ, just watched some streamers and so on... it seems like a game that demands a lot of processing power. Your 1060 might struggle with its graphics options, but you might need a more powerful CPU. If you're starting fresh, I'd suggest using Skylake or an i7-6700. I'm not sure if my assessment is correct about how demanding it will be.

Don't purchase DayZ. It's been in early access for a while. The experience is terrible.
