The cable uses three pins and provides 5V, but the board only supports four pins at 12V. You won’t be able to connect it directly. However, you can use an RGB controller with a 3-pin 5V ARGB header to link the cable.

Oh ok. I will see if I can get one of those. this is another cable that was there. On the other side it looked like something that would be like an adapter, do you think this is it?

The image isn't very clear, but based on your description, it seems to be Molex, which is different from what you mentioned.
