Considering an upgrade to 4x 8 GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo 3600 at 1.35v, the model F4-3600C16Q-32GTZN fits your setup. The kit appears to be Samsung B-Die. It seems uncertain about compatibility with a ROG Strix B550-F, as no B550 boards are listed for this RAM in the G.Skill configurator.

The motherboard isn't crucial beyond choosing one that supports higher memory overclocking. It's best to review the latest buildzoid RAM video for an overview. You may also need to adjust the SoC and RAM voltages once you receive the board.

They mentioned around 1.2V max for the SOC and 1.5V daily for RAM based on Google. I prefer 1.18V for the SoC and 1.48V for RAM to reach 3600mhz on an R5 3600. You can also aim for 3800mhz/1900 if you have clock speed, but you’ll need to adjust other voltages too. A near-perfect chip is important. Just avoid accidentally setting the SoC to 1.8V—your motherboard should block booting or limit it completely.

I prefer not to modify my RAM. Just need it to perform at the speed I was paying for. If it fails the first attempt and isn’t stable, maybe I’ll upgrade the SoC to 1.15 and the DRAM to 1.4.

You'll want to grab memtest pro if you really want to test stability and let it run overnight sometime. Although if you're buying all this stuff new ryzen 5000 is a decent step up.

I should also note that I’m currently using two 16GB Ripjaws V 3600 units. Voltages are standard, XMP support is enabled. That’s all. It works well. I’m not sure how it will handle four sticks instead of two with tighter timing. Don’t worry about it.

That seems to be a Samsung B-die board. It should function properly. I own the RGB version and tested it with a 3600 HOWEVER, I previously assisted someone with that exact model a few days back. They mentioned it doesn’t support XMP profiles unless you manually input timing settings. I’d recommend picking another board if you’re not originalizing it, as there’s a strong chance this will work out of the box. The B-die from Trident Z 3600 16-16-16 is quite capable, offering a lot of headroom. I set my kit to 3600 CL14 at 1.375 volts—just a bit above the standard. For CL12 I needed 1.42 volts. The SOC and RAM voltages aren’t tightly linked, though there are some nuances when you dive into customization. SOC mainly handles stable operation for the IC, while RAM voltage is optimized for performance. You can also explore bus termination and higher ProcODT settings to achieve lower voltages. I strongly believe a well-binned Samsung B-die should support its default XMP profile at 1.35 volts. In my early tests with a nearly identical kit, I achieved a stable stock XMP profile even when undervolted to 1.27 volts. The 3200 variant was limited to 3200 unless you isolated the IF, which sometimes failed due to IMC constraints.

Thanks for your reply. The Strix board is definitely the best I've ever used, so replacing it isn't necessary. If manual timing is required, that's fine. I'm hoping it will work out of the box as you mentioned. I also prefer keeping my IF settings at 1800 and RAM at 3600, so I'm curious if 3600 at 1800 works for my 3900X. The jump from 1800 to 1900 is quite significant—I've had issues with RAM overclocking before, which isn't something I'm comfortable with.
