This RAM seems excessive for its purpose.
During Zen and Zen+ periods, RAM compatibility was a major concern, prompting brands to promote kits that had been verified with Ryzen systems as "designed for Ryzen." This helped set them apart from unverified alternatives. RAM compatibility has since become less of a problem, though some companies still market kits as compatible with Intel or Ryzen. You can simply disregard those claims.
tailor made doesn't carry much weight on newer boards, often just marketing fluff. It's similar to setting tailored options in BIOS. Now you can fine-tune it through the settings, just like with XMP or DOCP. Intel and AMD offer versions called "extreme memory profiles" that can be saved to RAM.
Consider an alternative model that offers better reliability and higher XMP performance at a lower cost. It runs more efficiently compared to the Corsair kit you mentioned.
Unfortunately, I couldn't locate it on Amazon. I tend to steer clear of Newegg too. I picked up my CPU there, but it was the most intense experience. Amazon didn't ship, it was faulty, so I got a refund or replacement right away—plus some $5 gift cards from Newegg. Restock fee? I'd rather spend $10 to $20 more just to get it through Amazon. Compared to Newegg, that's a lot.
This seems promising. I'm excited about it and might purchase it soon!
