Checking GPU reviews and user tests shows a 3700x could limit a 2070S, but it feels unusual. I'm using a non-S model and the CPU rarely hits full performance in games like BF5 and MW.

It’s plenty for the job. A high-end R5 3600 would comfortably run a 2070 Super. I’ve got a Ryzen 7 3700X with a boosted 1080Ti, and I’m confident there won’t be any CPU limits.

A value of 3600 works, 2600 could also be acceptable. The 3700X is acceptable too.
