You can observe the Core Temp app showing higher speeds during intensive use, yet the CPU maxes around 3.3 GHz or 3300 MHz. When idle, it reads 800 MHz under Balanced power settings. I attempted to adjust the maximum speed in power settings to 3300 MHz but it still surpasses typical limits. It seems the system is likely using boost mode, though I couldn't locate it in BIOS. Unlike when playing Minecraft where temperatures stay around 55°C, you want to cap at 3300 MHz. Is there a method to enable that setting?

What you're observing is the CPU's turbo clock. This chip can reach 3.7GHz for about 30 seconds when under heavy load, then settle to its base speed of 3.3GHz. This pattern is normal and shouldn't cause concern. If you wish to keep it at 3.3GHz consistently, turn off turbo boost in the BIOS settings.
