Hello everyone. I’ve been thinking about resetting my PC for a while now, but every time I try it, I run into the same error saying this PC wasn’t reset. No changes were applied. That’s the one I’ve seen before. I searched online for fixes and found nothing that worked for me. I’m reaching out for advice. Do you have another approach? If it could help, I built it myself and it’s running Windows 10 officially.

Have you considered saving crucial data and erasing the storage for a clean start? This method is generally recommended. The system's automatic reset often retains unnecessary files.

Sure, after updating the boot installation you should be able to remove the USB stick. It usually takes a short time, but it might require going through some initial setup steps again.

You're wondering if you understand the initial question. Once Windows is set up, yes. The thumb drive can be taken out. You should expect at least an hour to complete the installation and configuration. It will be a brand new setup.
