I experience higher frame rates in Arma when using an i5 4670K and GTX 760 with 16 GB of RAM.

it works well for me, no hiccups. Only low frame rates in small towns, but it's stable and smoother than Arma 3 for me. In DayZ, the minimum is around 25 fps. In Novodmitrovsk it's better, while in Arma it drops to about 15 fps with stutters and texture issues.

Arma 3 and DayZ perform similarly on a single-core basis. DayZ may struggle significantly, while Arma 3 runs adequately. Upgrading the CPU would likely boost performance the most. The current specs are acceptable.

Thanks for the bubblewhale! Overclocking can boost performance, but exact FPS gains in Arma 3 depend on your hardware and settings.
