Check if the system meets Planetside 2 requirements. It needs at least 4GB RAM, a 32-bit processor, and a compatible graphics card like the AMD Athlon 64 3000+ with 2 cores and 260GB/s VRAM.

The process will face challenges. Planetside demands significant processing power.

Planetside 2 will definitely not operate on a single-core CPU.

It didn't work on my old Core 2 Duo even at 2.2ghz, so it's unlikely to run there either

This machine performs poorly even with minimal adjustments. Planetside 2 especially tests its limits.

It's CPU intensive. The GPU could manage it, but the processor is the bottleneck. Previously I achieved 15 frames per second at low settings with my old Athlon x2 5000+. Now with a 4670k I'm seeing 60 fps on high settings (using GTX 560). You might also face crashes due to only having 4GB RAM, which will likely attempt to access more memory than available.

They expect to resolve the CPU scaling problem soon after its release on PS4.

That would be great, I haven't kept up with the developers' activities on any games lately.

Maybe you're wondering why you're running Windows 32-bit on a 64-bit system. The main point is whether that's intentional or a problem. -edit- Either way, the PS2 is free to use, just give it a try.
