This new PC setup runs extremely sluggishly when starting up.
2 days ago i assembled a new pc and now i face a problem when it starts without power saving. The GPU fans go all the way up for 5-10 seconds, then the yellow error light appears indicating a critical failure. It takes about 15-20 seconds for the splash screen to load on the motherboard, after which it boots into windows and runs fine. Last night i updated all relevant drivers for gpu, windows, etc. The new build uses a Ryzen 7 7800X3D MSI X670E Tomahawk with wifi ripjaw flare, DDR5 CL36 6000, 2x32 2080, asus 1000 watt psu (microcenter had a better deal). The 2 samsung evo 2 tb are installed correctly, and windows is stored properly in the right slot according to the manual. No issues with games or system performance.
Have you checked if the RAM is properly seated in the designated holes? Make sure it matches the motherboard instructions. Given the large amount, it might simply require some time.
AM5 training usually requires 45 seconds to an hour or more occasionally. It's normal and doesn't occur every time. Adjusting the memory setting in BIOS can assist.
Recent BIOS updates? After a year with this system, I believe X670E boards need more time to boot. Memory setup should be done just once.
Is this about refreshing the memory each time you turn on the device? Have you installed the newest BIOS update?
