You're just setting up your first PC and running into startup problems. All lights are on and fans are spinning, but the GPU isn't working and you don’t see a video signal. You've checked things like RAM and power connections, tried different RAM sticks, and even swapped out the PSU. Here are some next steps:

- Verify the GPU connection is secure and properly seated.
- Ensure the GPU is recognized by checking its status in BIOS/UEFI.
- Try a different power supply unit (PSU) to rule out compatibility issues.
- Confirm the video cable is correctly plugged in and matches your graphics card’s specifications.
- If using multiple RAM sticks, try connecting them in a different order or with another RAM stick.
- Check for any BIOS updates that might affect GPU support.

Review the front panel header wiring connections—they’re easy to misplace and even a single pin missing can cause issues. Also, your motherboard might require a BIOS update. Make sure all power inputs are secure: 24-pin ATX, 8-pin CPU, and GPU 6 or 6+2 PCIe power. Go through the basics. I’m not trying to come across as superior, but sometimes we overlook small details. EDIT: If everything checks, your PSU might be underpowered and not delivering enough voltage. Edited July 7, 2022 by An0maly_76 Revised, more

The BIOS version isn't typically listed on the packaging; most manufacturers, including Gigabyte, display it on their product listings.

Thank you for your feedback. I've already explored all the options you mentioned, and the outcome remains unchanged. Have you considered other possibilities?

The manual mentioned the motherboard version 1.2 and noted it’s compatible with Ryzen 5000 processors. That information might still be useful.

It seems there are several interpretations of "Ryzen 5000 series support." The Ryzen 5 4500 can work with the correct firmware on the right motherboard, though it was actually launched after AMD introduced its full 5000 series lineup. The manufacturer’s site mentions BIOS version F10 for the 5600X, which qualifies it as "Ryzen 5000 compatible," while the 4500 requires the newer F14 revision. For this board, Q-Flash Plus is available, allowing BIOS updates without a CPU or RAM—simply power on and follow the steps in your manual or a YouTube guide.

It just indicates compatibility with the 5000-series chips, not a guaranteed immediate performance.

Thanks a lot for the details—it was only the BIOS update required. I didn’t realize that before.
