It seems everything is in order as far as installation goes. A minor difference in how the IHS was secured to the chip is possible, but overall it should work. Just make sure it boots normally and keep an eye on temperatures and clock speeds once everything is running. That should give you a smooth experience. =)
I installed the CPU in the socket accurately, with no strange resistance when securing it. If the CPU is positioned incorrectly, I expect the locking mechanism to feel more difficult. Although I have limited experience, this is my first CPU installation and I’m encountering this issue for the first time.
Let’s cut the curiosity and confirm everything before you install the cooler. I don’t want any chance of turning into statistics or accidentally connecting pins, which could cause a short and damage it.
I’m dealing with an issue related to my OCD. I’ve confirmed the CPU is in the socket and inspected it thoroughly, but I’ll double-check just to be certain.
You can observe from the images that it is positioned accurately.
I'm worried something might be wrong with this setup. I bought the Thermal Grizzly AM5 bracket, but I didn't want to install it because I don't want to lose the warranty. I also saw some YouTube tests saying it's unnecessary for AM5 since it doesn't impact temperatures, and Ryzen processors shouldn't have problems with bending. Eventually, I decided to skip the factory version, and it turned out to be a mistake.
