This new PC build is complete and I require assistance with the BIOS settings. (First time using this)
My build details are as follows: Mobo- ASRock Fatal1ty X370 Professional Gaming AM4, RAM corsair vengeance 32g (2x16) at 3200mhz, CPU ryzen 1800x, cooling corsair hydro series h60, GPU GeForce gtx 1080ti, PSU corsair 1000w. When I power on it, the system clicks on and off a few times before booting normally. This happens roughly three times, then everything works fine. What might be causing this? My BIOS is at version 2.4, which seems up to date. I set RAM to 3200mhz but on the main screen it still shows 2166 while in advanced it displays 3200 with 2166 next to it. The CPU is listed as 4000 but still shows 3600 on the main screen. Are these values loading correctly? Any advice on BIOS settings would be very helpful, especially for overclocking the CPU to 4.0ghz and setting RAM to 3200. Thanks for your help!
I suggest setting the default values to reach a familiar state. Check your PC stability with this configuration before modifying any BIOS settings. Make adjustments gradually, let it operate for several days, and then fine-tune the next change.
