This new computer isn't connecting to the internet despite having an Ethernet cable.
Completed a fresh installation and my PC isn't connecting even though it's connected via Ethernet. I downloaded the motherboard drivers from MSI but encountered an error code (103). I'm considering using Intel's drivers instead. My board is an MSI MPG Z790 Carbon Wifi with a 13700K CPU, and the cable seems fine. I used it on another PC just a week ago. A recent YouTube guide showed them installing the LAN drivers during Windows setup. Is this step really needed? They were doing it on Windows 11, which is better than what I have now.
I don't have a fix yet, but I've checked for solutions. You mentioned the same problem—let me know how I can assist!
