Hello everyone, I'm reaching out for assistance. I recently assembled my new PC using your suggestions from my initial post. Everything proceeded smoothly during the first boot, and stress tests in AIDA64 completed without issues. However, my startup time reached 62 seconds, and despite turning off all startup applications, no changes occurred. I'm running Windows 11 for this configuration. Additionally, I noticed red and yellow LEDs on the motherboard while powering up, which according to the manual signal CPU and DRAM detection failures. Although I mentioned these before, they still lit up. Thank you for your time and support! I'm concerned about any potential issues.

We require some basic information about your system to proceed. However, if it's a Ryzen 7000 series, extended startup times are typical.

DDR5 may require a longer startup period initially. Early boot times of 5 to 6 minutes were typical. A 60-second boot with a Ryzen 7000/ DDR5 setup is normal. No hardware issues are present, and no mistakes appear to have been made. Have you updated the BIOS? A newer version can greatly reduce boot duration.

That's normal. What those lights really mean is what part of the boot process the board is on. It will go through each of the four lights (CPU, RAM, GPU, BOOT) as the system is booting, and if it has a boot issue, it will get stuck on that particular LED. For an AM5 system, that's expected. It's taking this long because of memory training. You can try updating the BIOS and using Memory Context Restore, that can sometimes help, but don't expect getting down to <30 second boot times.

It might have been my mistake, but when I first began, an MSI application began downloading all drivers, even the BIOS, though I’ll ensure it’s up to date.

I've heard many claims about this potentially leading to stability problems, so I didn't bother enabling it myself. To be honest, my PC is linked to a TV, which means by the time both the TV and receiver start up, it's not a long wait. It mainly feels more abrupt compared to older systems that booted up much quicker.

It's generally uncommon to encounter problems with the newest BIOS update, and it significantly reduces startup time. I believe turning it on only when needed and off when there are no issues is a good approach.
