You just got a new Asrock X570 Pro 4 motherboard with everything installed. I double-checked everything and it’s still working properly. The case fans are lighting up and spinning, RAM is flashing, the CPU fan is running, and GPU fans are active. Everything looks fine except the CPU and DRAM LEDs stay lit, but the screen doesn’t display anything.
I received the second motherboard a few hours ago after sending back the old one. Everything seems to be working now, but the issue persists. After checking, the GPU fans aren’t spinning at all. I might try resetting it, but I’m not sure it will help much. My AMD FX6100 was fine before; I set everything up and it worked perfectly.
I brought the build to my nearby store and he ran tests on his bench. He noted everything appears normal except the motherboard (what a surprise) and mentioned a possible short caused by something in the case, possibly due to user mistake. He double-checked the standoffs to ensure they weren’t installed incorrectly and left puzzled just like me. Now I’m initiating an RMA for this board and browsing other compatible options. For now, I’ll search QVLs for suitable boards that come with the 3600 out of the box. As I don’t have an older Ryzen to update BIOS, I need recommendations for good choices. In the meantime, I’ll be reviewing components. Components so far: Ryzen 5 3600 G.SKILL Trident Z RGB 3600 16GB (2x8gb), F4-3600C18D-16GTZRX, MSI Radeon RX 580 DRIFTRECTX 12 Armor X 8GB 256-bit DDR5, WD Blue SN550 NVMe M.2 500GB WDS500G2B0C, Seagate BarraCuda ST2000DM008 2TB 7200 RPM, EVGA 650 BQ 80+Bronze semi-modular, DEEPCOOL Matrexx 50 ADD-RGB 4F.
