Hey everyone, Friend got a 9800x3D but can't boot Windows anymore. After installing Windows on a new M.2 via USB, everything worked fine until he tried to restart and XMP activated. Now it won't come back on. He's updated the BIOS, but it still shows error code 96 when turned on.
The RAM speed remains unchanged when XMP is enabled. You should have multiple sticks of RAM installed. Clear the CMOS by removing the battery for five minutes, then reinstall and see if it boots. Resetting the CMOS will erase BIOS settings and turn XMP off.
