This model won't allow fan speeds under 1800 RPM

Sorry, My English is pretty bad I have a main B660m pro as with fan intel gen 12 RM1 https://www.intel.vn/content/www/vn/vi/s...ssors.html I see fan works by manufacturer 600<fan<3150 But my main limited cannot set below 1800 rpm, i try setting in BIOS failed ( i try set custom temperature still can't), i used plan soft A- Tuning used Start FAN test ( it is alike Fan tuning BIOS), it is same result BIOS I don't know if it's a bug or a feature 1. a-tuning 2. minimum speed fan 3. maximun speed fan

From your images it's unclear whether the fan uses PWM or DC. Verify it's configured as PWM to achieve the desired low speeds.

ASRock CPU fans don't support DC or PWM settings, though the main unit usually uses PWM while the chassis fan offers both DC and PWM options.

Consider adjusting the fan speed beyond 0 (perhaps 5) for clearer results. Checking the CPU Fan2 header might also help identify changes.

I attempted cpu fan2 settings but the fan remains unchanged. I've tried custom mode and adjusted speeds like 0 or 5, yet it stays at around 1800 RPM.

It seems the system is built to prioritize stability. Adjusting the CPU fan speed below 20% isn't possible for my Gigabyte Z390 board.

people often use gigabyte's popular set for standard RPM fans. I'm trying to move my rpm 2200 fan to another giga board, but it only runs at about 1000 RPM when the CPU is idle and 3400 at full load.
