The PC specifications are: A320M-K/BR, Ryzen 5 3500, 16GB RAM (2x8), 120GB SSD (windows and core programs only), 1TB HDD (games and other files), and GTX 1660. I powered it up until 8 in the morning today. In the afternoon around 4 PM I tried to boot it, but it kept showing "press del or f2 to enter bios" and didn’t respond afterward. I turned it off and on, reset the BIOS by jumping cables, removed and reinserted the battery, and even changed the power cable, but it still wouldn’t boot. I checked online for similar issues but found no matches.
Disconnect all USB and network peripherals except the keyboard, then check if the BIOS appears. Occasionally it may attempt to boot from a USB device or from the network.
Attempted it, but ended up with the same result. Removed the Ethernet cable, same display.
Verify the SSD connection is secure. If everything checks out, remove it and reinsert. Next, review your boot sequence in the BIOS settings. Ensure the Windows bootloader appears first. Should issues persist, create a Windows installation media and perform a fresh setup.
It won’t allow access to the bios, it just freezes when entering the bios screen. I tried reconnecting as instructed, but nothing changed. I also tried without it and without reattaching, still the same issue.
It seems the boot file on the SSD might be corrupted. Try removing the SSD and check if the BIOS recognizes it. If not, connect a SATA-to-USB adapter to another computer and use it as a flash drive. This should let you access the data. You could also perform disk checks—if it's an SSD, simply replace it.
I discovered the issue—it seems my RAM stick has completely failed. I plan to clean it using isopropyl alcohol and rubber, but it appears permanently dead. I exchanged the sticks and used just one now, which resolved the problem. Anyone experiencing the same should try running the device with a single stick or swapping them out; it worked for me!
