Setting up a fresh system for a family member turned into a challenge—no video signal at all. The motherboard is an ASUS Prime B450M-ii, with the latest BIOS version 4202 installed. The system runs a 2023 update, featuring an AMD Ryzen 5 4500 6-core processor and discrete graphics. RAM is a T-Force Delta RGB DDR4 32GB module at 3600MHz. The video card is an EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER. Despite testing components for weeks, there’s still nothing appearing on any video ports, not even during boot. This has been a long process, especially since Windows 3.1 was released, and I’m not new to these kinds of technical hurdles.

The cable needs to be placed only in the GPU since the CPU lacks built-in GPU support. Solution: - Reduce the BIOS version to match the oldest support for Zen2 CPU (3000 series). Newer BIOS versions typically cover Zen3/5000 series. - Replace the RAM. Using an old system speaker can help identify the error code.

The Morthbaord model is b450m-a ii. The problem was identified. During production, a small piece of plastic fell into the PCIe port, preventing the GPU from being fully initialized.

You're experiencing the same issue on your Asus Prime B450MA2 even after updating the BIOS. Try holding the power button for 20 seconds before rebooting to see if that resolves the problem.
