Hey everyone, I need some advice. My setup looks like this: PSU is NZXT 650W, CPU is Ryzen 5 5600X, GPU is 6700XT (12GB XFX Radeon RX 6700 XT Speedster SWFT 309), RAM is B550I Aorus Pro AX rev 1.2, and I have 2x16GB GSkill Ripjaws at 3200Mhz. The problem is it won’t turn on. I updated the BIOS to the latest version via Q-Flash, which worked fine before. Here’s what I did: removed all mainboard connections except CPU and 12-pin, pressed Q-Flash, waited for a flash, then slowly turned everything back on. After some time the LED stopped blinking and the PSU also shut off. When I reconnected only the RAM, GPU (2x8-pin), USB2 (needed for AIO), and the 3-pin header for the pump, it worked. The graphics card was plugged straight into the mainboard to avoid the riser cable being a problem. I’ve tried different cables—HDMI, DVI—and even other ports. CMOS reset didn’t help either; I shortened the pins for 10 seconds with the PSU still connected. Any suggestions? Also, the monitor and cables on another PC are fine. Thanks in advance!
I discovered it myself. The issue was the RAM. I swapped in two 2x16 G.Skill Trident 3600 modules from another computer, and after that, the mainboard connections worked fine. It seems the Ripjaws setup might be defective or not compatible with this board.
