This model doesn't restart the USB microphone when it's asleep.
Hey everyone, I'm an IT professional facing some challenges setting up my own system at home. I own a generic webcam from Amazon, specifically the EMEET 960 model. The camera functions smoothly when resuming from sleep. However, the microphone fails unless I restart the PC or disconnect the device and request it for switching sources before reconnecting. On my older 8600K system, it worked perfectly. My attempts so far include checking ASRock's website for chipset drivers, installing Intel INF drivers from their site, disabling power-saving features in Device Manager, searching for a specific webcam driver—none found. I've also reinstalled Windows and adjusted BIOS settings to disable deeper sleep states. Despite these efforts, the device still resets every time I wake up. Some fixes that helped: restarting after sleep, unplugging and replugging, changing audio/USB sources in Discord/Zoom, etc.
Posting this discussion again from a few months ago since we reached out to Asrock support and attempted their solution (disabling Fast Startup in Windows 11). Still no resolution. Looking for others who might have faced the same problem.
