I attempted just now and it failed once more, yet I can still operate at 3200mhz with XMP enabled. When I manually set the value to 32.00, I try to exceed 33.00 but it stops abruptly. A rapid sequence of beeps occurs, followed by restarts and another beep, then a restart, and finally it returns to 2678mhz. I have some photos and recorded the voltage at 1.35, but nothing changes afterward. After setting it to 1.35, the voltage jumps to 1.368—unusual but genuine. This loop of beeps and restarts seems to keep cycling...
Well 3200 offers better performance than 2666MHz, at least. I usually opt for 3200 because I didn’t believe 3600 justified the higher price and I didn’t want to spend hours adjusting BIOS settings. Maybe someone with deeper knowledge of memory timings could assist in getting 3600 operational or achieving tighter timings with 3200. It’s also conceivable you might need a higher SoC voltage for the CPU’s integrated Memory Controller to function at 3600. It could just be a matter of chance in the chip selection and your processor may have limited iMC support. P.S. You can press F12 in BIOS and save screenshots to a USB drive.
Thanks for the assistance. I plan to use 3600MHz and would appreciate guidance from someone more experienced about timing details. Appreciate your tips on F12 and BIOS screen settings.
