I'm running on a single stick of RAM, haven't reset the CMOS, and it's displaying a black screen with messages like "no signal." (Note: I stepped away for about 30 minutes.)

Did you take your time? Your Gigabyte aorus board showed clear instructions, like the bios flashback light will blink if processing is ongoing. The update should take about 5 minutes. Would you like me to restart it and let it finish updating? The process is identical for both z690 and b650e.

Yeah, and I'm sorry to ask this, (I've tried it a couple of times too), but are you sure the monitor is connected to the GPU instead of the motherboard?

I closely observed the video step by step, followed all the steps correctly, waited for the MB light to cease blinking and vanish (which took over five minutes), then removed the USB and tried to boot. I can try again now that I have cleared the CMOS.
