Interesting... this seems to occur only with YouTube? Have you attempted setting the static IP address on your network adapter and manually entering the gateway IP in the appropriate field? You might want to try that if you haven't, and you could also consider adjusting the gateway LAN IP address—this will need you to log in via the browser.

1. Open your network settings or device manager.
2. Locate the option to assign a static IP address.
3. Enter your desired static IP address, subnet mask, and gateway IP.
4. Save or apply the changes.
5. Ensure the adapter is connected to your network.
6. Verify the settings work by checking connectivity.

Let me know if you need more details!

You're likely using Windows 10, but there are some differences in shortcuts. Start by opening the Control Panel (press Windows Key + R, type control panel). In the Network and Internet section, click on "View network status and tasks". Then select "Change adapter settings" from the left. Look for available connections; the one you need is labeled "Ethernet".

Next, locate your current Gateway IP address. Double-click the Ethernet adapter and click "Details". This will display your IP address and the default gateway. Note these values. Close the details window and go to "Properties".

Attach the image you mentioned, but skip the WiFi section. Choose Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) in the properties, enter your IP address there. The subnet mask will remain at the default (255.255.255.0). Set the default gateway to the IP you just recorded, or use 192.168.1.1 as a guess. For DNS, enter the gateway IP or 8.8.8.8. Save the changes and test the configuration to confirm it works.

Who provides your internet service? What type of connection are you using? Which speeds do you currently pay for? What model does your modem, gateway, or router have? Have you tested a fresh Ethernet cable? Ideally, Cat5e or higher.
