To modify the final entry at the end of the configuration file, access the console and execute a command like `sudo nano /etc/fstab`. Locate the relevant line for /dev/sda5, edit it, save changes, and restart the system. As another person mentioned, this might be caused by a damaged filesystem. If it isn't the sole filesystem, you can also boot without loading this particular section. Instead of setting the last part to 0, comment out the entire line (start with a #), save, reboot, and then run fsck manually to verify.

It's perfectly fine, likely the graphics driver is the issue. Try pressing CTRL+ALT+F5 to open a shell and see if it appears. Additionally, adjust the kernel boot options by modifying them in the grub menu and removing "quiet" and "splash" using E.
