Hi everyone, I performed a reset on my laptop because it wasn’t turning on. After that, I saw the low battery indicator, but even though I kept the laptop plugged in for more than four hours, the low battery screen still appeared and it didn’t boot. I’m using the power adapter that came with the device. I’m considering a faulty battery, but I hope someone else has another perspective? During the reset I pressed and held Shift, Control, and Option on the keyboard while also pressing the power button for ten seconds. After releasing the keys, I turned on my Mac.
It seems the power source could be out. Consider sending it to a local Apple service center.
