I received my new 4070 last week and conducted some tests over the weekend. I decided to undervolt it to maintain stable temperatures and lower power usage, following a specific video guide. The results were excellent—I played Cyberpunk without issues yesterday. However, today when I tried to run the same games, the PC would restart immediately after launching any application. I tested Cyberpunk, Starfield, Heaven Benchmark, and other GPU-intensive titles, but they all rebooted upon startup. I've already checked DDU, reset all configurations, including afterburner settings, with and without undervolting, yet nothing resolved the problem. The curve was set to 900v and 2550mhz. I noticed the idle clock readings from Afterburner (without any undervolting) suggest the GPU is operating at very low frequencies—sometimes it briefly reaches normal speeds but still triggers a reboot. Could I have made a mistake? Thanks for your assistance!

This PC features the Intel 5800X3D processor paired with the Hyper 212 EVO cooler from CoolerMaster. It includes an EVO Windforce 12GB cooler, a MasterWatt ASUS B450-F 750W power supply, and a Strix 16GB RAM module at 3200MHz with two 8GB Crucial Ballistix modules.

It doesn’t seem like you did anything unusual. Start by checking Event Viewer. Navigate to the logs, sort by Level, and focus on red errors and critical entries first. Review them to understand the cause of the crash. Share your findings here!
