Hi, I came here seeking assistance since I’m struggling with my current setup. Recently, the 3.3V line on the motherboard is problematic. The software reports around 3.040V during idle, but it drops to 2.9V or even 2.8V, leading to system freezes. I can move my mouse, but everything else freezes. Initially, I suspected a faulty PSU, but after replacing it, the problem persisted. I reset the BIOS to factory settings, which brought it back to 3.184V after a few restarts. However, the issue reappeared later. Using a voltmeter, I measured 3.33V on the connector—could this indicate a motherboard issue? Additionally, I noticed that copying large files from the M.2 drive causes the system file explorer to crash. My setup includes: Asus WS 390 Pro i9 9900K Corsair 64GB (4x 16GB) 3600Mhz Samsung Evo 970 Pro NVMe 1TB, Samsung EVO 970 Pro NVMe 2TB, and Nvidia RTX 3080 FE 10GB Corsair HX850. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
Sure, please update the BIOS to the newest release. I haven’t checked the battery voltage yet—would that be normal? Should I go ahead and replace it just in case? Thanks for your response!
