yeah hand brake works fine for this when you ingest the content you have handbrake or preferably ffmpeg transcode it to 480p 720p 1080p and in whatever format you want

With over 900Mb available and assuming 1080p requires around 3500Mb per person, you can simply multiply until it matches your network capacity. This helps determine how many viewers you can support.
